Jeff was at the tennis world's precipice but realized that being committed to other people is his purpose. Today, Jeff dives into his professional tennis and entrepreneurial journey.
[03:56] Why should I listen to you?
I have dedicated my life for the last 20 years, whether as an athlete, coach, or entrepreneur, to wear many hats of different perspectives to help people in need.
[05:11] What sets you apart?
My parents divorced when I was a child. I am on my own, independent, and had to learn my way in the world. I chose tennis, a sport that taught me how to solve a problem, figure things out, and how to be tough in between the lines.
[09:38] I was at a crossroad. Here I was, a 33-year-old athlete chasing this dream, lonely, not making a lot of money, and injured. I asked myself, “Why am I doing this?” I started coaching as a tennis coach, but it was my avenue of practicing my language and communication. I am an innovator, and I saw things ahead of the curve.
[18:19] Legacy
Integrity is the most important word for me. Be remembered for how you treated people, how you lived your life and the integrity behind it. It might feel good to be recognized as the best coach globally, but the best legacy you can leave is how you share your message to the world authentically and with integrity.
